Here are the answers to some questions that might be asked. Please ask any questions here, unless they involve who you are the Secret Santa of, in which case note the group for privacy. Note that since we do this all year round, even if it says "Dec. 1st" or "Christmas" it is will applied to the other months. 
Q: Why do this all year round?
A: Because, this way no one has to wait an entire year to get to be in an SS service, even if it technically isn't Christmas. And who doesn't love getting gifts all year? It'll be a nice thing for some people.
Q: Where do I sign up?
A: Sign up journal. Link is in the "Cause & Links" box on the home page.
Q: Can I join?
A: Of course! Just hit the join button and wait for it to be voted on. You'll surely be accepted.
Q: Ack, it's past Dec. 1st and I haven't signed up. Can I still partake?
A: Of course, but try to be on time next year.
Of course, if you try and enter too far into Dec. then you will be declined being able to join.
Q: What if I don't write?
A: Sorry, but then you can't partake.
But you can become a contributer and assist with group matters if you want.
Q: "Please give quality work for your gifts." What does that mean? Do I have to slave over hours writing something for someone else? Why should I?
A: It means don't just throw down some words on a piece of paper and give it to someone. Put some thought into it. Some description, no txt tlk, making things understandable... That's what I mean by quality. Try! And why should you? Because 'tis the season to be giving. That and someone else is writing something for you. Don't be a spoil sport and not even try to write something.
Q: My SS didn't give me anything and it's Christmas!
What do I do?
A: First off, are you SURE they didn't forget to note you? Note the group asking about your SS and we'll talk to them. If we don't get a response from them before the end of the month then I'll write you your SS gift instead, and we'll deal with the SS who didn't do their job. You might get your gift in Jan. depending on my schedule, but I'll make sure to write it post haste.
Q: How do I inform the person I'm the SS of that I've posted their gift up?

Hey there, everyone!
I heard about the need for a founder in this group, and so I decided to take the initiative and sign up! Things might be a tiny bit different and I'll be switching a few things around, but this will still be the good old TheWriterSantas (https://www.deviantart.com/thewritersantas)
First things first, I'm looking for a few active people who would be willing to partake in managing the Secret Santa events over the course of the year and who would be willing to split up duties with me. They're not too overly stressing, as they just include sending out notes, writing an occasional journal, of possibly just welcoming new members.
